This is a reminder that Archives Awareness Week also coincides with the AAO’s annual fundraiser! This year we want our members to consider supporting the Shirley Spragge Bursary Fund, which provides financial assistance for students, new professionals, or archivists in financial need to cover the registration and travel to the AAO's annual conference.
The Committee to Establish a MIddlesex Centre Archives (CEMCA) is interested in learning of other archives in Ontario who have completed feasibility studies, specifically in regards to building a new facility (needs assessment especially of interest). CEMCA would also be interested in the names of any consultants/agencies that conduct such studies. Should there be a need to provide the County Council with this information in the future, we'd like to have some names and recommendations ready to present.
