It seems facile and an anthropomorphic mistake to blame capitalism as a fundamental cause.

I was unable access any studies that compare life expectancy and quality of life for more capitalist or more socialist countries without taking into account levels of economic development.
It seems, however, that capitalist countries, in general, have a greater level of economic development.
