Just in time for the holidays - some tips on how to manage your listserv
subscription from the CLICK4HP list-owners. Sam, Liz and myself can all be
reached by sending email messages to [log in to unmask]

Please do NOT send command messages to this elist. No one else on this list
of 1050 subscribers can 'unsubscribe' you, or set your messages to digest or
to no mail.

To UNSUBSCRIBE
- please note the message on the bottom of **every message posted to this
list** as it tells you how to unsubscribe.
Send one line: unsubscribe click4hp to: [log in to unmask] to
unsubscribe

To unsubscribe yourself - prepare an email message that is addressed to
[log in to unmask] [not to this list]
Leave the subject line blank
In the body of the message type only
   UNSUBscribe CLICK4HP

If unsubscribing yourself does not work because your email address has
changed - please contact the listowners at [log in to unmask] and we
will delete you from the list (which has been done for the 5 people in the
CC line).

To Change Your Subscription Options

With the volume of messages increasing on this listserv, subscribers might
want to consider the Digest option. If you change your list-subscription to
Digest, you can receive all messages posted in one day, in a single email
message sent out at midnight.

- to change your subscription to digest by email:
Send an email message to [log in to unmask]
   Leave the Subject Line blank
In the body of the message, type only
    SET CLICK4HP DIGEST

Setting Listservs to NoMail during vacations, holidays
Tired of seeing those 'Out-of-Office' replies? Want to stop the flow of
messages during holiday while still staying a subscriber? Then consider
setting your subscription to 'NoMail' while you are away (and reinstate to
'Mail' when you return) by doing the following:
Send an email message to [log in to unmask]
   Leave the Subject Line Blank
In the body of the message, type only
    SET CLICK4HP NOMAIL

You can also administer your subscription options on the CLICK4HP website.
See: http://listserv.yorku.ca/archives/click4hp.html to alter your
subscription
Click on 'Join or leave the list (or change settings). You will be taken to
a Log-in screen. If you have not been there before, you will need a
password.
Go to the following link to set up your click4hp password.
http://sundial.ccs.yorku.ca/cgi-bin/wa?GETPW1=LMGT1=click4hp
You can then use it to administer all your settings for your subscription.

Please note that most listservs have similar instructions for subscription
management - by email or on the Internet. In NO listserv format or
structure is it possible for general list members to administer someone
else's subscription. It is not helpful to post messages to the whole
listserv to 'unsubscribe'. If you lose the instructions, contact the list
owners - nearly always by sending an email message to
[log in to unmask] (or in this case - [log in to unmask]).

Have a happy holiday season!
