I am interested in finding out how other government organizations,
particularly other public health agencies, are integrating work on the
social determinants of health (SDOH) into their mandates and practise.
In particular, I would be interested in any of the following:
* how the work is moving beyond the creation of backgrounders,
reports, position papers, etc. and into concrete action;
* summaries of recommendations for how health agencies can address
SDOH in tangible ways, with examples;
* lessons learned from agencies who have done this;
* examples of advocacy where a positive, clear result was
achieved, for eg. policy change, as a direct result of the advocacy
efforts
* lists of provincial-level (for Ontario, Canada) NGOs that are
working on SDOH issues
Thank you
