JOB POSTING
POSITIVE WOMEN'S NETWORK
SUPPORT WORKER RELIEF/ON-CALL
The Support Worker will provide 1-1 support, advocacy & referrals for HIV
positive women.
QUALIFICATIONS
* counseling & crisis intervention skills
* familiarity with community resources in Lower Mainland
* experience with HIV/AIDS, alcohol & drug, and mental health issues
essential
* experience working with diverse groups of people
* experience working within women's organizations and non profit
community groups
* experience within a team setting
* flexible working style
EXPERIENCE
Minimum two years recent experience providing counseling, advocacy and
support services to women. BSW or other relevant Bachelors degree or
equivalent experience.
HOURS
ON-CALL
Shifts will be scheduled between 9am -5pm Monday to Friday
