Pratima,

I seem to recall there was a similar thread a couple months back.

I wonder if the new electronic health information centre is going to make
this a priority, it seems that communities outside of the big cities would
also have a need to obtain and distribute information on a range of topic
to people who's language is other then English.

I am concerned that many people are reinventing the wheel and overall we
are not focusing on improving access to resources. I know that a lot of
resources on violence against women were produced in Ontario in all kinds
of language. So why should each community take resources to reproduce the
same thing when we could just improve access for everyone. Would it not be
wonderful to have a web site where we could just d/load or order resources
as we work on issues?

So I am suggesting a country wide or wider inventory of basic resources and
thinking that we need to focus on improving access.

But that is off the top of my head, so likely many more people can tell you
stuff,

S
