This year's Videoconference is presented by the University of
North Carolina School of Public Health Minority Health Project
(UNC Program on Ethnicity, Culture, and Health Outcomes),
the UNC Center for Health Statistics Research (funded by the
CDC National Center for Health Statistics, the CDC Center for
Infectious Diseases Office of Minority and Women's Health, and
the Morgan-Hopkins Center for Health Disparities Solutions
(funded by the NIH National Center for Minority Health and
Health Disparities).

Major funding comes from the CDC National Center for HIV, STD,
and TB Prevention in collaboration with the Association of Schools
of Public Health.

This annual Videoconference covers issues and solutions related
to: collecting, analyzing and interpreting data for racial/ethnic
populations; disentangling and assessing relationships among
race, ethnicity, genetics, and socioeconomic status; community-
based research; and partnerships between minority-serving
universities and research universities. Friday's session will feature
two presentations on Health Disparities Research at Historically
Black Colleges and Universities with Public Health Programs.

The School of Public Health is NOT charging a site fee.
