New Report Released:  Trust Before Change: Findings of the Perinatal and
Child Health Survey of Low-Income and Isolated Families in Huron County

With funding from the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care, the
Huron County Health Unit partnered together with local service providers
to learn more about the experiences of low-income and isolated families
with young children in Huron County.  Through kitchen-table interviews,
parents were given an opportunity to talk about their experiences raising
children in Huron County.  The project provided insight into what needs
are not being met and how local health and child care agencies can better
plan and provide appropriate services and programs.
