Greetings,
In the last day there were at least four messages that were posted to this
listserv that were NOT intended to be sent - they were personal messages
directed at colleagues, or as 'replies' to the originator of a message
posted on the list.
Please, be careful when you either 'forward' or 'reply' to a message that
appeared on the CLICK4HP listserv (or any other listserv). Check the 'To'
address **before you send the message**. It may have gone to 1200+
subscribers on the list, which may not be what you intended. The list
facilitators cannot stop such messages, cannot 'recall' them, nor remove
them from the permanent archive.
The CLICK4HP list, like many other listservs, has a 'header' in the 'From'
line on messages posted to the list, that may appear to be directly from
an individual, but in fact, it is the list-address of click4hp @ yorku.ca
that is the sender, on behalf of the original posting person. If you want
to respond just to that individual, please copy their email address and
paste it into a new email message.
We want to encourage exchange and discussion on this list - so please do
not stop posting messages, or responding with your idea, point-of-view or
question! Just exercise a little prevention when you try to either Reply
or Forward a message. If you have any questions about optimising your
participation in the CLICK4HP health promotion list, please do not
hesitate to contact the list facilitators/hosts at either
<[log in to unmask]> or <[log in to unmask]> We're here to help.
Thanks!
Alison Stirling
co-facilitator, CLICK4HP list
