Webinar on Pesticide Bylaws- Strategies for Success, Friday October 19

In the past five years, Canadian municipalities have emerged internationally
as environmental and health leaders by passing local bylaws to reduce
pesticide use. An estimated 130 municipalities now have bylaws aimed at
restricting the use of lawn and garden pesticides. The City of Toronto
enacted a bylaw in 2004 and already reports a 35 per cent reduction in the
reported use of pesticides, increased use of natural alternatives and
positive changes in how lawn care companies and retailers are delivering
products and services. Learn about how the pesticide bylaw trend began in
Canada and what tools the City of Toronto is using to achieve and sustain
success. Friday October 19, 2007, 12 noon Eastern Time.

*	"I have used Skype-Out to phone into the webinar from South Africa
and once connected it works perfectly. It is ridiculously cheap - about 2
Euros for a 90 minute session. .... Your real life examples give the theory
life and aid deeper comprehension."
