Toronto can be a big city. Sometimes we often would like to contribute
to our community but aren?t sure where to start, or else we are
already involved but would like to get a glimpse of what other
initiatives are going on around the city?
As a launch to the Poverty and Health conference being hosted by the
Public Health Students Association, we would like to invite you to
take a first step towards learning more about community action in
Toronto by dropping by the Concord Café on October 2, 2008. This
evening will allow you to meet and get information on social justice
organizations working in Toronto, while enjoying some jazz and spoken
word performances by local artists, and, of course, food and cheap
drinks!
YOUR FIRST STEP TO COMMUNITY ACTION: LAUNCH OF THE POVERTY & HEALTH
CONFERENCE!
