Hello,
You are most welcome to the list. I have sent you an invitation which you
need to respond to. In addition you may find the following useful for
future reference:
Best wishes,
Pierre

Hello colleagues and friends,
**Please save this message for future reference.**
ihealth has grown to a list of about 80 subscribers. I think it is time to
reiterate some of the rules of an e-mail list. Also, I have decided to opt
for the full moderation mode of the list. I will screen all messages in an
attempt to keep us on track, and reduce a nuisance to you. Forgive me if I
opt to screen some messages out.
1) An e-mail list works through your contributions. Write to
[log in to unmask] if you want to submit something you think we would all
like to read.
2) If you receive an invitation to the list, do not forward it to another
list. This happened to another list called CANCHID, with rather disastrous
results! Apologies to CANCHID readers.
3) Forwarding a message from another list is fine, so long as it has
relevance to this list. Be prepared to answer why you think it is relevant!
4) Administrative questions can be sent to me at:
[log in to unmask], not to the main list address.
This includes questions about joining or leaving the list. Note you can
leave on-line at the web address http://www.eGroups.com/list/ihealth
5) If you do not want to receive daily messages, you can receive a digest.
Do not ask me to do this by e-mail. Go onto the web and visit
http://www.eGroups.com/list/ihealth
You can also opt to receive no e-mail, and simply read messages of your
choice on the web, by setting your preferences to "web" rather than
"e-mail". You can do this on-line on the web at
http://www.eGroups.com/list/ihealth
6) This is an e-mail list for people interested in working in health
(public health and clinical) in countries other than their own. You may
share experiences relating to work in Health/Development overseas,
advertise job opportunities, and converse with others who have worked
overseas.
Let's confine our messages to these parameters only.
7) Take care when you hit the reply button. This will send your reply to
the entire list - always ask yourself first if we all need to read what you
are sending back.
Do not copy the original message unless it is necessary for understanding.
8) Have fun! Grow in unerstanding! : )
Pierre
