Reading Romanow: The Implications of the Final Report of The Commission on 
the Future of Health Care in Canada for Women

A 60 paged, chapter-by-chapter gendered analysis of the Final Report of the 
Royal Commission on the Future of Health Care, Building on Values: The 
Future of Health Care in Canada (Romanow 2002).
This document argues that the Romanow Report fails to recognize the 
significant ways in which health care is an issue for women, particularly 
for those women providing unpaid personal care, and those receiving care.
