YouthNet, a program coordinated by Family Health International, is please to
announce the availability of new publications and resources on our Web site,

1. Youth Issues Paper 4 - Reaching Out-of-School Youth with Reproductive
Health and HIV Information and Services - is now available. This paper
explores different populations of out-of-school youth, examines the link
between schooling and safer sexual behaviors, and presents programs that
work with young people who do not or cannot attend formal schools. Four case
studies detailing programs working with mainstream and marginalized youth

2. For those interested in youth reproductive health and HIV/AIDS policy, a
new online resource from YouthNet and The POLICY Project is now live on the
Web - www.youth-policy.com <http://www.youth-policy.com> . It contains a
searchable database of more than 100 full-text policies addressing youth
reproductive health and HIV/AIDS policies from more than 40 countries. The
Web site also contains guidelines to making youth policies, case studies,
tools, and more.
3. The Sex Education portion of the YouthNet Web site has been updated with
new curricula, guides, tools, and links. It also features extended
information on school-based programs, parental involvement, and training
teachers to provide sex education to students. Visit these resources at
