Natural products Companies may have incentives to test
the efficacy of natural products. since this is now a big market.
Govt, through research institutes, can (and sometimes does) make
research funds available to test the efficacy
and safety of such products. I suspect
that proposals to test products that the
historical data suggest as being efficacious
may be favorably appraised by govt sponsored institutes.
