A Collaborative Framework
for Training in Domestic Violence

Join us to hear Marilyn Harris talk about the work she has been doing in
Australia at the Queensland University of Technology on a collaborative
approach to a training framework on domestic violence. The project resulted
in a program called 'The Road to Freedom: Ending Violence Against Women,'
which was undertaken with rural community-based anti-violence workers,
health nurses and social workers.  Marilyn will also discuss the role and
functions of Brisbane's Domestic Violence Resource Centre Inc., a training
and resource centre for crisis and anti-violence workers.  The centre
advocates and provides counselling for survivors and victims of domestic
violence.
