Hi San,
You may be interested in looking at the work of Cecilia Benoit on the sex
trade/industry. This page has publication info:
http://web.uvic.ca/~cbenoit/CB%20Pubs.html
<http://web.uvic.ca/%7Ecbenoit/CB%20Pubs.html> . Also, have you heard of
PEERS, the Prostitutes Empowerment Education and Resource Society? They
have some publications and do outreach: http://www.peers.bc.ca/pubs.html .
There are other community organizations that are similar in other cities
such as Vancouver (PACE is there); it might be helpful to contact them for
input.
Good luck!
