The "social environment in the workplace" is just as imprtant as its physical aspects in
helping organizations maintain a healthy work environment and reduce levels of job-related
stress, according to Dr. George Alleyne, Director of PAHO.  PAHO observed World Mental
Health Day with a program featuring skits on workplace stress, and presentations by
experts.

 - MSF Canada Job Opportunity: Coordinator, Access to Essential Medicines Campaign
(Deadline October 16, 2000)
The MSF "Access to Essential Medicines Campaign" aims to increase access to essential
medicines in developing countries.  The MSF Canada Coordinator will be responsible for
carrying out the activities of the campaign across Canada.

 - CUSO Seeks Accounting Clerk (Deadline October 13, 2000)
This position is a long-term, full time contract position until June 4, 2001.  Under the
direction of the Director, Financial Services, the Accounting Clerk assists in the processing
of field office reports and schedules; contributes to the processing of donations, and to the
effective functioning of the Financial Services unit.

encore l'assemblee est organisee au meme lieu que la 7eme conference canadienne sur la
sante internationale du 12 au 15 novembre 2000.
