I have done a meta analysis of auditable expenditure patterns
susceptible to "informatic" interventions.  They fall into they high
level groupings of near-term vs long term, and in domains of "consumer",
"clinical" and "organizational".  The economic feasibilty is relative to
the "useful life" of the "assets" used to capture the savings, and also
to teh degree that you can make the "total burden of illness
accountable.
