Greetings.

We thought that this notice might encourage some members on this list.
NAMI is a grass roots organization that has been promoting the concerns
of families and caregivers for a number of years to those in positions
of power. We are currently utilizing their Family-to-Family education
program (12 week course) as a means of empowering the families and
caregivers in our local communities (we serve the Counties of
Haliburton, Peterborough, Northumberland & Victoria in central Ontario).

For those posting previous messages re the need for mental health
promotion info - check out the NAMI website as well as the  *new*  CMHA
(Canadian Mental Health Association) websites for the national office as
well as the Ontario division.
