The Region of Hamilton-Wentworth / City of Hamilton (Ontario, Canada) is
recruiting for health promotion staff for workplace health promotion.
Working within a multi-disciplinary health promotion team at a Teaching
Health Unit, a Workplace Health Coordinator is needed to plan, develop,
implement and evaluate workplace health promotion programs, policies, events
and strategies.
Applicants with a Master's Degree in Health Science, Public Health, Health
Education, Health Promotion or related area; sound knowledge of workplace
health issues, behaviour change theory, policy analysis and development;
with demonstrated competence in program planning and evaluation, health
promotion strategies, community mobilization, and written and  verbal
communication will be preferred. Candidates with a baccalaureate degree in
health or applied sciences with 2 years experience in the above areas and
strong research and analytical skills will also be considered. Salary based
on $44,319 to $50,361 per annum and attractive benefits package.
