Hello Fellow Mark Twain Enthusiasts~

This is a note of praise for the Tom Sawyer play now showing at the Minskoff
Theatre. It is a production that would make Mark Twain proud on several
levels. The changes made to the original story are entirely justified, and
are also responsible for a greater degree of adventure. Considering the
level of familiarity with Mark Twain's works to the average member of the
audience it is an entirely refreshing adventure for almost everyone in
attendance. Needless to say books utilize the imagination of the reader to
produce the greatest adventures possible, but this fact properly understood
should reveal the Tom Sawyer play to be the next best thing: an
extraordinary piece of artful interpretation of one of Mark Twain's best
books.
