The following information refers to 2 positions which are now open
 at the Waterloo Region Community Health Department (Ontario):

THE REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY OF WATERLOO

Public Health Nutritionists
You will plan, implement and evaluate promotion activities with the
 Heart Health/Cancer Prevention Program, Pre-Natal Nutrition Project
 and Healthy Babies/Healthy Children Program focusing on key areas
 such as education, skills training, social marketing, policy and
 community development.  You will also plan and organize media
 promotion campaigns, prepare proposals for funding and facilitate
 workshops and community organization processes.

(a) Family Health:
 Highly involved in our Healthy Babies, Healthy Children Program,
 you are a graduate of a Master's program in health studies
 or health promotion, you have prior experience in health behaviour,
 behaviour change, and policy and program development, including
 evaluation research and social marketing within a public health context.
Position #2000-152
Salary range: $39,717 - $51,631 per annum

(b) Heart Health Cancer Prevention
 - temporary part-time for approx.  1 year:
Your thorough knowledge of health behaviour, policy, and program
 development is gained through a Master's level health studies or health
 promotion preparation and progressively responsible related experience.

Wage range: $21.82 - $28.37 per hour
