Contract Posting: Clinical Research Associate
Location: BC Centre of Excellence for Women’s Health, Vancouver
Duration: 6 months, possibility for renewal

Description: Working in co-operation with directors and researchers at the BC Centre
of Excellence for Women’s Health and the Department of Specialized Women’s Health at
BC Women’s Hospital and Health Centre, the Clinical Research Associate will lead the
development of women’s health research proposals, projects and publications with a
clinical and/or epidemiological focus. Proposed epidemiological work will include
statistical analysis of large datasets for questions relating to race, class, and
gender, among other data categories. Proposed clinical research will include
reproductive care, birth, and maternal health, among other subject areas in women’s
health.

Qualifications:
PhD in Epidemiology, MD, or equivalent designation.
5 - 10 years of related experience
Knowledge of women’s health issues
Excellent English skills (French would be an asset)

Notes: Full-time availability is preferred, part-time will be considered.
Compensation will be commensurate with experience. Course “buy out” for university
faculty will be considered.
