The William T. Small, Jr. Keynote Lecture will be given by Richard Moore,
Co-Founder of the Southwest Network for Environmental and Economic Justice
and the Southwest Organizing Project, and Founder and Director of the
Bobby Garcia Clinic in Albuquerque, NM.  (More information about Mr.

the afternoon panel discussion on "Public Health in the New
Administration: Impact on the Future" are Bill Jenkins, PhD, Marian
Johnson-Thompson, PhD, Dennis McBride, MD, MPH, Jacqueline Resnick Joel
Schwartz, PhD, and Janet Southerland, DSS, MPH, PhD)

Mr. Moore's presentation and the afternoon's Panel Discussion on Public
Health in the New Administration will be carried live (free) by satellite
(C-band) and by Internet (also free) (Register to downlink from satellite

The goal of the conference is to explore the impact of social and
environmental factors on the health of minority populations by presenting
underlying conditions, examining innovative strategies, and identifying
priority areas for future research and practice.
