In response to your second request, a good overview of the HBM and TRA are
provided in Glanz, K., Lewis, F.M. & Rimer, B.K. (1997). Health Behavior and
Health Education: Theory, research and practice. San Francisco: Jossey-Bass.
The chapters on HBM and TRA also include good reference lists.

Subject: flu and pneumonia interventions in long term care facilities

I am looking for literature which describes flu and pneumonia interventions
in long term care facilities, however, there doesn't seem to have been much
done in long term care facilities. I am finding a fair amount on community
based studies, but would like to have information on interventions in long
term care facilities if at all possible. Rates of flu immunizations in
nursing homes would also be helpful. Does anyone know of such studies or
where I might information in the literature?

In addition, I am looking for information on the health belief model and the
theory of reasoned action. Any suggestions?
