The following position is available with the City of Hamilton Social &
Public Health Services Department.

Workplace Health Coordiantor

The City of Hamilton Social and Public Health Services Department, a Public
Health Research Education and Development Unit, affiliated with McMaster
University and the University of Guelph is currently recruiting for a
Workplace Health Coordinator.

Reporting to a Program Manager, Healthy Lifestyles and Disease Prevention,
and working with a multi-disciplinary team, you will plan, develop,
implement and evaluate workplace health promotion programs, policies events
and strategies.

Applicants with a Master's Degree in Health Science, Public Health, Health
Education, Health Promotion or related area; sound knowledge of workplace
health issues, behaviour change theory, policy analysis and development;
with demonstrated competence in program planning and evaluation, health
promotion strategies, community mobilization plus written and verbal
communication will be preferred. Candidates with a baccalaureate degree in
health or applied sciences with 2 years experience in the above areas and
strong research and analytical skills will also be considered.
