As part of the Toronto Reference Library's 25th Anniversary Celebration, a Health Panel session on "Mending Medicare" will  be held on October 18th.  The panel will discuss how the Canadian health care system has changed over the past quarter century and project where we are going.

Please pass this information on to others that you think may like to attend. Admission is free and there is no need to R.S.V.P. Hope to see you on Friday!

Member of Parliament for the Toronto riding of St. Paul's; founding member of "Friends of Women's College Hospital; author of Kill or Cure?  How Canadians Can Remake Their Health Care System.

Dr. Michael Rachlis
Frequent media commentator on health policy issues; co-author of two national bestsellers about Canada's health care system - Second Opinion and Strong Medicine: How to Save Canada's Health Care System ; HarperCollins will publish his third book in spring 2003 - working title "A Stitch in Time: How Innovation is Saving Medicare."
