On Friday October 3rd at 6:00am Network Operations will be shutting down
the central Network concentrator for a period of approximately 1 hour.
The reason for this action is to remedy a power supply fault and restore
power redundancy for the Network backbone. During this time all remote
and Internet access will be interrupted along with the Machine Room
(services) FDDI ring and the Backbone FDDI ring. Users working locally
within their own subnet will not be affected. We apologize for this
interruption.
