Subject: articles, discussion or research around on philosophy of
consciousness and health?

Hi, my name is Peta Sharrock and I am a student in Australia who is
undertaking a Masters in Public Health.
I have been receiving mail from the list serv for a few days now and it most
interesting.
I am wondering if anyone in the group would know of any discussion around
consciousness in the context of health promotion theory and practice? ( I am
aware of Freire's critical pedagogy but would like to approach the
philosophic side of things, not just from an educational perspective.) I
have done some reading in continental philosophy and critical theory but was
wondering if anyone in Health promotion or public health has engaged with
this in anyway?
thanks very much
sincerely
Peta
