Announcing Passport York

CNS is working to implement a single password scheme for all the
computing and network services we provide. To this end, we have
changed the name of our account management program from MAYA to
Manage My Services, and changed the names of the authentication
components (MAYA login ID and MAYA password) to Passport York
username and Passport York password.

A key objective is to enable the user to separate authentication
(Passport York) from the application used for actual account
management (Manage My Services). Once authenticated, users will
click on Manage My Services in order to activate accounts, change
account passwords, put to sleep, awaken and cancel accounts.


Passport York will give you access to the CNS supported
applications:

· Manage My Services (formerly MAYA)
· YorkNet (Formerly ResNet)
· Class List
· Central Web service
· Phoenix
· Web CT
· Dialup modem pool
· Acadlabs

Mymail will be added to the list later.

Passport York and Manage My Services will be available this
