Hi all,

I was just sending off information today to someone on poverty as a
determinate of health and writing that the problem wasn't so much
convincing people that it was a determinate but doing something about it.
Almost at the same moment I received the Ontario Health Promotion Email
Bulletin with information on a draft document from Health Canada on early
childhood development.

http://www.hc-sc.gc.ca/english/archives/releases/ecdraft.htm

I went and looked at the doc, interesting, but nothing about addressing the
determinates of health (poverty, housing, etc).

So my question for people is am I missing something? Or am I right that we
would rather ignore the determinates of health and continue working the
ways we have been?

Thoughts, comments?
