My Sunday New York Times, under the headline "After 9 years, New Zealand Spurns
Right" states: "But Ms. Clark [Labour Party] apparently won out with pledges to
raise taxes for the rich. The levies would help finance improvements in social
and health services and set up a venture capital fund for individuals and
business."
