Hello everyone,
The Prevention Dividend Project (http://www.prevention-dividend-com) is
planning to hold a second, major conference this fall to discuss the issue
of cost-effectiveness in prevention and health promotion. We have discussed
the possibility of including a funders' panel, together with a practical
session and take-home manual on how to measure cost-effectiveness as part of
program evaluation. We are considering holding this conference in October,
2001 after Thanksgiving during the week of October 14 or 21, 2001.

We want to ensure that we don't bump up against other provincial or national
conferences that may be happening at the same time. Does anyone know of any
other key events that may conflict with our conference during the week of
October 24 or October 21? I know, for example, that the Ontario Public
Health Association conference is in early November.

Here's what we have found so far for the weeks of Oct. 14 or Oct. 21, 2001:
October 16-19
2001 Ontario Occupational Health Nurses Association (OOHNA) 30th Annual
Conference
2001: A Nursing Odyssey
Niagara Falls, ON
