Canadian Women's Health Network
COMMUNICATIONS COORDINATOR
Bilingual preferred
Term Contract- November 8, 2001 to March 31, 2002 with possibility of renewal

We are seeking someone with extensive knowledge of women's health to coordinate
a bilingual communications program related to women’s health. Duties include
media and public relations, production of a newsletter, production of
articles/opinion pieces for other media and editing of reports and bulletins.

Three to five years demonstrated experience is required. The successful
applicant will have excellent writing and medical/health research skills,
experience in policy and advocacy, especially to do with women or women’s
health, as well as experience with WWW publishing.  Fluency in languages other
than English, especially French, an asset.

Contract Fee/Salary range: $34,000 - $43,000 per annum.  This is a 5-month
contract with possibility of renewal. Occasional travel will be required. Note:
the successful applicant does not have to live in Winnipeg.
