CCPH’s mission is to promote health through service-learning, community-based research, community service and other partnership strategies.

CCPH has recently been funded by the Kellogg Foundation, to convene a Commission on Community-Engaged Scholarship in the Health Professions with the goal of creating a supportive culture and reward system for health professional faculty involved in community-based participatory research, service-learning and other forms of "community-engaged scholarship." We invite you to attend an interactive discussion on challenges, opportunities and possibilities for community-engaged scholars and the institutions that support them.

Presenters:

Dr. Seifer’s research focuses on the principles and best practices of partnerships between communities and academic institutions in relation to education, research, and community/economic development.

Elmer R. Freeman, MSW, PhD (c) Chair-Elect, Board of Directors, CCPH
