CBR201 Building Effective Community-Based Research Partnerships

This very popular and interactive workshop is designed as a continuation of CBR101 and builds on the essential concepts of community-based research (CBR). Increasingly, we are understanding that partnerships are invaluable to effective community-based research projects and other health programming. This workshop’s main focus is the planning, implementation and maintenance of resilient CBR partnerships.

Participants Will Learn:
• strategies for partnership development and monitoring during the duration of a CBR project.
• sensitivity to community concerns, ethical and privacy issues in CBR.
• how to implement the actions from CBR projects.

Who Should Attend:
• researchers interested in partnership research initiatives.
• front line practitioners.
• community members.
