the Interactive Domain Model (IDM) of Best Practices, regarding the new
resource.

A new "best practices" website has just been launched at
<http://www.idmbestpractices.ca>.
 Two major goals of the website are to promote discussion of best practices
ideas, and to provide information to make the application of best practices
easier.

May's features include:
-- a reflection piece by Jan Ritchie, University of New South Wales (Sydney,
Australia)
-- a profile of Rishia Burke, community-based researcher and evaluator
(Burlington, Canada)
-- jottings on "three kinds of practice" by one of the website editors
-- a brief description of the resource <http://www.surveykey.com>

The website defines best practices as consistency between practice
(processes and activities), underpinnings (values, theories and beliefs, and
evidence), and understanding of the environment.
It is also open to other perspectives, and contributions related to any best
practices approach are very welcome - experiences, questions, insights,
resources, people profiles...
Submission guidelines are posted on the website.
