Now available - the inaugural issue of the Journal of Applied Research
on Learning (JARL),
at <http://www.ccl-cca.ca/CCL/Reports/Journal?Language=EN>
a biannual research publication for the Canadian Council on Learning
that addresses specific, practical problems affecting learning in Canada
and applied research of significance to learning in Canada. JARL is a
peer-refereed, online journal available through CCL's website as a free
publication containing scholarly articles in both French and English.

The articles in the first issue examine learning with and through
technology, the training and development of learning practitioners, and
the effectiveness of specific educational initiatives. They also address
the learning challenges faced by young learners, adult learners, and
learners with a unique ethno-cultural background.

The CCL's hope is that JARL will play a unique role in helping
disseminate ideas and research findings to Canadians to encourage
informed discussion about learning issues.

Please spread the word about JARL.
