The Interagency Youth Working Group is hosting an online forum on youth peer education. Moderated by experts around the globe, the forum provides an opportunity to discuss youth peer education generally and the Evidence-Based Guidelines for Youth Peer Education<http://www.iywg.org/sites/default/files/peer_ed_guidelines.pdf> (62 pages, 872 KB) specifically. We encourage you to download this recently updated resource in advance of the forum. It gives practical guidance on a range of issues important to developing and sustaining successful youth peer education programs. You can also order a hard copy by writing to [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>.

The forum will begin at 9 AM Eastern Standard Time (EST) on Monday, January 10th and end at 5 PM EST Thursday, January 13th. Beginning on the 10th, you'll have the opportunity to ask questions of our experts and share your experiences with colleagues working in peer education. Our experts live in a variety of time zones, so their responses will be posted beginning on the morning of January 11th.

We welcome peer educators, program managers, program planners, and others interested in youth peer education to join in the discussion. We'll be talking about the following topics: program planning, recruitment and retention of peer educators, training youth to be peer educators, leading peer education sessions, supervision and program management, monitoring and evaluation, and addressing gender in peer education.

You can register for the forum and read more about our experts at:

We look forward to hearing from you on the 10th!
