The Board of Directors of the Canadian Mental Health Association is seeking
a dynamic and creative individual with a proven track record in leadership
and innovation. The successful applicant will articulate and represent the
mental health needs of the community, and demonstrate a solid understanding
of building community capacity and strengthening partnerships. He or she
will possess superior interpersonal skills to lead the organization in the
areas of program development and implementation, education, and advocacy.

Experience is required in the following areas:

        *       Strategic and operational planning
        *       Program development, implementation and evaluation
        *       Financial management and resource development
        *       Communications and marketing
        *       Conference planning and project management
        *       Management of programs and services
        *       Formal and informal mental health related supports and
services
        *       Working with volunteer directed committees, coalitions and
boards


Qualifications:

A Masters degree in a related field is preferred. A combination of an
undergraduate degree and at least five years related work experience will be
considered.

The Canadian Mental Health Association is a national voluntary organization
dedicated to promoting the mental health of all people.
