"I question whether it is an ethical and effective approach to promoting health
to have 1-3 year olds indoctrinated with tobacco prevention messages. It raies
the possibility of

1. stigmatizing poor children whose parents are more likely to smoke;
2, promoting discrod between very young children and their parents and friends;
3. It is unproven and probably will cause little children conflict and
nightmares;
4. It misdirects attention away from real issues that young children and their
families face;
5. It gives the mistaken impression that tobacco is the major issue facing these
children and their families;
6. It is unethical, manipulative, and potentially an abuse of children placed in
the care of childcare by their families.

Is that better?
