Perhaps some additional input from the Click4hp group would help clarify
the following questions and direct one toward the
appropriate literature.

What definition is used for 'excluded youth'? What environments does
this definition encompass - schools, families...? And
finally, what are the main theoretical foundations that use this term or
the concept implied by the term? Social bonding theory
and attachment theory would be applicable. Rather than look at the
theories/models that address 'excluded youth' it might be
easier to identify the prominent authors found in the literature. Also
there are likely a number of related terms that are used,
such as marginalized youth or alienation etc. (other terms?)
