Growing Peer Support, Friday, November 25, 2005, Toronto Canada
A free regional conference for community volunteers and professionals who
are interested in or active with self-help and peer support initiatives.
Self-help, mutual aid and peer support are informal networks of individuals
who share a common experience or issue. Members meet to share emotional and
practical support and exchange information. The Growing Peer Support
Regional Conference is an opportunity for self-helpers, volunteers and
professionals in related fields to learn more about self-help and peer
support. The workshops have been designed to provide excellent learning
opportunities. The conference itself is also a chance to network-to share
and to learn from each other.
Up-coming Ontario Self-Help Network Conference, Friday, Nov. 25. Visit
