available. In this workshop, you will learn about FREE and fee-based research
databases in the health sciences...

about blogs, wikis and feeds used in consumer health, self-management and
patient collaboration
Examples:
- Google
Health Support Groups are online communities that provide mutual and self-help
for patients and caregivers.
- There
are a variety of suitable social web tools useful for communicating with
clients and colleagues like IM and chat
- Wikis
are online spaces for sharing ideas, having discussions, uploading files (e.g.,
Word, PowerPoint, etc) and embedding other applications (e.g., Facebook) and
multimedia files (e.g., Youtube videos)
