I have found this discussion very interesting. In the United States, most
schools have bus programs, and the children take the bus to school. In some
cases where the school is close, they can walk or ride their bike. I have
seen very young children walking and riding their bikes alone, in small
groups, but with no adult supervision. This always amazes me, we are in a
very violent time and some people target this violence at children. Your
programs help the children get exercise but also provided safety. I have
passed the messages and links to many of my contacts that work as school
nurses as well as others who are just plain parents, maybe this could catch
in the United States. Thanks for sharing .......Anne Llewellyn
