Nancy, there is a program underway in ALberta called Ever Active Schools, which
has the potential of reducing long term illnesses like heart disease and
diabetes through the development of active healthy environments. It doesn't
involve all schools but that is the overall goal. It is just into its second
year. You may want to contact Marg Schwartz for more information at 780 454
4745 or [log in to unmask] - she is the coordinator.
