Hello all,

On behalf of the Australian based Cycling Promotion Fund (see
www.cyclingpromotion.com ) I have been asked to develop a resource
booklet on current research and evidence on the mental health benefits
of physical activity- bicycling in particular.

It is aimed that the publication will be used as a tool to raise
awareness of, and to assist anyone wanting to seek funding for, the
development and running of regular bicycling groups to increase the
mental health and well being of its members. The publication may also be
distributed more widely, for instance to general medical practitioners
and health promotion units, and additionally, will be available on the
net. The project follows on from, and will enlarge upon, a number of
articles written previously. For instance,
http://www.bfa.asn.au/cyclist/1200buzz.htm

What I am seeking is a) your input and your views as to what such a
publication should, or could, include and, b) articles, or links to
articles, which provide substantive evidence.

sincerely,

Kate Mytanwy
