HOT TOPICS IN PHYSICAL ACTIVITY FROM THE ALBERTA CENTRE FOR ACTIVE LIVING
The Alberta Centre for Active Living is producing a series of Hot Topics in
Physical Activity to promote SummerActive (a community-based national
campaign to increase awareness about the importance of physical activity to
health).
Over the next few weeks, we will produce information about five topics.
Please visit our web site weekly
(http://www.centre4activeliving.ca/Education/HotTopics.html) to view a new
Hot Topic every week.
You can view the first Hot Topic, The Role of Physical Activity in
Preventing Chronic Disease, on the Alberta Centre for Active Living web site
at http://www.centre4activeliving.ca/Education/HotTopics.html.
Upcoming topics include:
The week of May 22: Children and Active Living
The week of May 29: Older Adults and Active Living
The week of June 5: Active Living in the Workplace
The week of June 17: The Costs of Physical Inactivity
We would like to distribute these Hot Topics as widely as possible. If you
would like to reproduce a Hot Topic in your publication or on your web site,
