The Centre for Global eHealth Innovation, University Health Network and
University of Toronto, has organised a workshop for the International
Society for Equity in Healths Second International Conference, 14-16 June
2002 in Toronto.

The workshop, entitled Digital Inclusion: The Role of Information and
Communication Technologies (ICTs) to Reduce Inequities in Health will take
place on Sunday, 16 June 2002 from 9 am until noon at the Medical Sciences
Building, U of T.

Confirmed workshop facilitators include Dr Hamish Fraser of the Childrens
Hospital Informatics Program, Harvard Medical School, and The Clinical
Decision Making Group, MIT Laboratory for Computer Science; Dr Ron
LaPorte, Professor of Epidemiology at the University of Pittsburgh, School
of Public Health; and Dr Victor Neufeld, Professor Emeritus of Medicine
and Epidemiology at McMaster University, Hamilton, Ontario.

Each will present a brief paper and act as coordinators/facilitators for
the workshop.
